Rebuilding Shattered Lives

Oregon C.O.P.S.

Oregon Concerns of Police Survivors

Our chapter was established in 1993 after the deaths of 2 Multnomah County Sheriff’s Deputies in a vehicle crash caused by a drunk driver. Our mission is to provide support for families and co-workers of peace officers whose deaths are directly related to their sworn duties. We work to encourage public support for law enforcement as a profession, and as individual officers, and to inform the public of C.O.P.S. and its work both locally and nationally.

  • Our Mission

Rebuilding shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths, through partnerships with law enforcement and the community.

It is not how these officers died that made them heroes, it is how they lived.
